The Western Climbing Club works hard to provide a friendly, active climbing community for Western University students. No matter if you are a beginner or an expert, our goal is to provide a positive experience for everyone!
Our club holds weekly climb nights at the Junction Climbing Centre. We also help members join belay lessons for a discounted price, provide exclusive offers, promotions, and gear from our sponsors, and a great way to meet new friends and break away from the school routine! In addition, we run many in-house competitions and contests as well as compete with other schools through the University Bouldering Series (UBS)!
The club is open to all Western students and skill levels, even those who have never tried rock climbing before. Newcomers are always welcome – but be warned! Rock climbing can be highly addictive! Once you?ve been bitten by the climbing bug, you may never go back??Climb on!!!
