Book Talk: Admission Fee


The Western Psychology Association is pleased to announce that we will be hosting our very first Book Talk with Dr. Marc Lewis, cognitive neuroscientist, developmental psychologist, and author of Memoirs of an Addicted Brain. On March 2nd, 2021 at 7 p.m. EST, Dr. Lewis will be delivering a keynote speech on his book, which details his life and his experience with drug addiction, followed by a 30 minute Q&A session.

This fee is for non-members only, meaning you are not a member of the Western Psychology Association, Western Undergraduate Neuroscience Society, Canadian Psychological Association, Active Minds at Western, King’s Psychology Association, or Huron Psychology Association. If you are a member of any one of these of clubs or a a Western or Affiliate psychology faculty member, please check your inbox for an email from your respective club(s) or the Western Psychology Association regarding how you can register for this event. All proceeds goes towards Pine River Institution, a charity that focuses on helping adolescents with addictive behaviours through family-centered programs. After paying for the fee, you will receive an email by February 26th. This email will provide the registration link for the event. It is not the link for the Zoom call, so please remember to register at least 24 hours before the event.
